Welcome to the Irish Dental Associations Learning Management System.

With New Dental Council guidelines on continuing professional development (CPD) and the expectation that a new Dental Act will introduce mandatory CPD for all dentists, IDA are delighted to introduce the new Learning Management System for members. 

The system will allow dentists to:

View a calendar of events, both IDA and non- IDA courses,
Book and pay for IDA course online (Using Paypal) and
Access peer-reviewed articles from the Journal of the Irish Dental Association.

Members will be able to view their CPD record online and all IDA courses that you complete will be automatically put onto your record.  You can also manually record any non- IDA event that you have completed.

It is the responsibility of all dentists to keep a record of their CPD – this online system will allow you to do this in a timely, efficient manner.  No need to keep Certificates of Attendance from IDA events anymore, they will automatically be on your online record and you can view and print off at any time.

In time all IDA courses will have to be booked and paid for online through this system.  Also there will be no need for CPD sign in sheets at IDA courses.
