To mark the National Mouth Cancer Awareness Day, The Dublin Dental University Hospital is hosting an alumni event "The Frontiers of Head and Neck Cancer Care and Research" on Thursday, 19 September 2013, from 6.30pm to 10pm. The session will be chaired by David Ryan and the key speakers include Dr Colin MacIver, Dr Anne Hegarty and Dr Conor Barry who will talk on the latest developments inhead and mouth cancer care and research. This will be followed by the presentation of the Perpetual Teaching Award to Dr Hugh Barry and the inaugural Ena Brookes Memorial Award to an outstanding part-time teacher. A reception and the launch of the book "The Living Book Project " edited by Denise MacCarthy and Lia Mills, will conclude the evening.
