Following on from the success of Mouth Cancer Awareness day 2011, Mouth Cancer Awareness Day is happening on Wednesday 19th September 2012. All dental practitioners are asked to get involved by offering FREE mouth cancer examinations on that day to members of the public. This lecture will prepare participants for examinations on 19th September and will give practical guidance and advice as to what will happen on the day.

Speaker: Dr Niamh Boyle, Oral Surgeon

Niamh will give practical advice to participating dentists as to what to look for in an oral cancer exam, identify benign, premalignant and malignant lesions. There will also be advice given on how to refer patients on the day.
