There will be a joint Irish Endodontic Society and Metropolitan Branch of the IDA meeting on Thursday 30th January 2014 in the Hilton Hotel, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 at 7.30pm.

The future of  endodontics

The speakers are:

Instrumentation - Dr Willy Pertot
Willy is a graduate of St Joseph University Dental School, Beirut. He has limited his practice and teaching to endodontics and oral biology. He is currently visiting academic at Warwick Post Graduate Program (UK) and Clinical teacher at Paris 7 (Garancière) post graduate program with a private practice limited to endodontics in Paris.

The future of root canal disinfection and the role of ultrasonics - Dr Luc van der Sluis
Luc graduated from the Academic Centre Dentistry, Amsterdam (ACTA). From 1993 to 2010, he worked in practice limited to endodontics and held a position in research and teaching at the Department of Cariology, Endodontology and Pedodontology, ACTA. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as professor at the University of Toulouse. The current focus of his research is the disinfection of the carious lesion and root canal system.
