Optimal implant position permits ideal aesthetics and considerably reduces expensive laboratory costs. This lecture/course will outline the individual process involved in diagnosis and treatment planning for the implant case. In addition, the fabrication and design of a generic surgical guide for all implant systems will be demonstrated. This affords the practitioner a unique experience in the surgical aspect of dental implant therapy, embracing 3D technology in order to design and fabricate an accurate surgical guide.
