.Immediate Life Support is a more advanced form of life support over the more common Basic Life Support. Certification in Immediate Life Support is not only a prerequisite part of your record of competence but it is required to be undertaken yearly by all sedation teams as per the Intercollegiate Advisory Committee for Sedation.
