Infection Prevention and Control

Dental practices are obliged by the Dental Council to establish and maintain an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Policy following the publication of the Dental Council’s Code of Practice Relating to: Infection Prevention and Control, April 2015.

The Irish Dental Association have developed a series of templates covering many of the required topics as an aid to establishing an IPC Policy for your practice. These templates are generic and should be adopted for your practice.  

The Association will continue to develop further templates and ensure the present template remain accurate and contemporaneous.
